just got our Marti Report back today.........

it indeed is one of 35....."O" axle code and all they couldn't confirm the unique "O" axle code but hey I'll take a confirmation on the rest as a salt shaker I can douse upon my friends ......[8D][:-]

 

one other tid bit.One of the items listed was Sprint Sport.

.....what is sprint sport??? a common item .....but the Marti guys wouldn't opine on the subject. (probably some simple huh?)

 

Is yours a 66? I think they made Sprints Sports in 66 and they were I-6. Then I think they made them in 72 with white paint and blue stripes.

 

nah....mine is a 67 Convertible it was ordered with the stripe package..... The car has a few odd features. I know that term just too lazy to look it up myself.

 

Anybody an idea what sports sprint is??? I can only assume it is either exterior trim which it has......or the 289 ? Dumb question I know. I've heard the term "Sports Sprint" used before.....never thought much about asking details.

It was a promotional thing Ford did, my 67 "was" a sprint. I think it was rocker trim molding, full wheel covers, chrome air cleaner lid and a vinyl looking shifter handle.
