oooh timelock i forgot to ask, did the valve covers come with breathing holes? if not what the size of the hole os i can buy the breather.

yeah 5.0 they mean the efi 302 used in the fox body you dont have efi nothing to worry about but to pay for them. get good gaskets too the cheap cork ones suck and leak.

What the EFI users have to do is use a phenolic spacer between the upper & lower intake halves. That raises the upper half, high enough to clear the taller valve cover.

look fine to me you can buy new bolts if you like dont have to but they have chrome ones and other styles just for looks.

I have had my valve covers off about 5 or 6 times do to some issues with rocker studs backing off, (don't go there). But I have been using these:

...and have not had to replace them. Metal frame with rubber on both sides seemed like a winner and has worked out great. They may not advertise as such but they are essentially reusable. Never a leak, (to date, anyway).
