Default RE: valve covers.

ORIGINAL: scouttrooper

I have had my valve covers off about 5 or 6 times do to some issues with rocker studs backing off, (don't go there). But I have been using these:

...and have not had to replace them. Metal frame with rubber on both sides seemed like a winner and has worked out great. They may not advertise as such but they are essentially reusable. Never a leak, (to date, anyway).
I also have the same gaskets, they're great. Have had to pull the valve covers off a few times and just re-used those and works perfectly.
