Does the 69 cowl bolt in or is it welded like the earlier models?? I cant tell by looking and dont know what has me thinking it just bolts in.. Can anyone clarify this for me?

 

It just bolts in. The top portion is wedged underneath the lower windshield moulding, kind of snaps/pushes in. If you open your hood you can see the bolts holding down the front portion of the cowl. When this cowl cover is off, it looks like this:



In the pic you can see how the moulding bolts on, and how that bolt on bracket is also used to wedge the cowl cover inbetween it and the shinny part of the moulding.
