Hey- New to the board. I'm a Grad student at UC Riverside, California (27), and I own a 66 A code Coupe. I've been messing with cars since 13. Anyhow, I'd like to see what you all think about these door panels I made. I love my original interior, but sometimes it's nice to see something new. I really like the look of tweed in old cars, and it seems to compliment a minimal look. Vinyl's cool, too, but I hate it when people pour on the Armour All all over to get that "extra shine". lol you sure will get opinions. I havn't seen one like that before but I kind of like it. It pops against the door and matching seats too or just door panels and what about the headliner?

I'd like to see how you did that.

 

I really don't have much money (broke student) to go all out but I'd love to do a full custom or restomod interior. I really appreciate original classics, but once in awhile I'll get that customizing itch! I would certainly change out the seats and add some custom touches here and there- console, kick panels, headliner,etc.

I like it, looks very good. I think if you did it in black and then filled in that "depression" with one of those aluminum plates, it would look amazing.
