Default Right Balance for Sweet Looking Engine

Okay, here it is I'm definitely putting new engine in this winter already know what type based on previous posts but was wondering what the right amoung of bling would be. Being an owner of a customHarleyrmy first preference is to use a endurashine or polishedparts on everything but I have a feeling that may be a little overboard. Want to strike right balance.

Want it to look custom but not over the top. Basically all I'm starting with is a black block and aluminum heads. I know the other parts I'm getting but they come in a number of options (aluminum, polished, endurashine). Anybody have some post pics to post or reference to a good site for seeing some options. Nothing is off limits. I'mplaning on showing the car but keeping driver status - is and will always be a restomod.

Thanks in advance.

black wrinkle covers with the aluminum colors fins are my fav valve covers, along with a natural aluminum finish intake. i actually like the golden color of the old holleys better than the new silver/zinc colored models[8D]

Corporate Blue block, aluminum heads with Ford Motorsports aluminnum valve covers, PAINTED corporate blue aluminum intake with factory dual snorkle air cleaner.

I like to use FoMoCo pieces, not necessarily original, but factory ,when I can.

K.I.S.S.

Sometimes less is more when doing the detail. You don't want it to look all pimp daddy but you want it to reel in the admirers.

Twin turbos, EFI, and a huge air/air intercooler. After that nobody will notice what has been chromed or painted.
