help with holley fuel pump

Default help with holley fuel pump

i was tired of braking cheap kregan fuel pumps so i bought this holley pump http://www.holley.com/12-390-11.asp what whole do i hook the carb fuel line to? i just dont want to hook it up the wrong way

Look on the bottom of the pump. There *should* be a marking like 'in' and 'out'. Short of that, put a finger over one of the holes and cycle the pump and see if you feel suction or pressure.

haha well about 30 seconds after i posted i noticed the in and out on the bottom. but thanks i just get really impatient

You need a regulator for pressure, not flowrate. According to your link, it is pre-set to 6.5-8 psi and states "fuel pressure regulator is not required."

ya i didnt get it off of that site but they said i didnt need pressure regulator so i didnt get one is 6.5-8 ok? and what kind of regulator should i get? and how do i hook it up a link would be best, thx

i no i dont need one but im putting gauges in where my radio used to be so i might as well get one

+1 with gothand. You don't need one, why would you bother spending all the time hacking your dash to put a gauge in, for something you don't need.

That's like me putting a barometer gauge in my dash. []

i have the spare money and i dont know what to do with it...or instead of putting it where the radio was i was going to put some pillar gauges up
