ok so you sell some ads and buy your fast back, where do you get the money to paint the ads? once you paint the ads and drive it for a year, where do you get the money to repaint the whole car over again? to much wasted money in my opinion

Who ever said anything about painting the ads on? Ever heard of magnets? And I don't really think you need a 68 Fastback for transportation. You want the Mustang more than anything. Why not save up some money or even take out a loan to buy a beater car that will get you from point A to point B without breaking down all the time? Then once you get through college and get a real job, then you can buy the Mustang you've always wanted. JMO.

I guess all i'm really saying is you don't needa 68 Mustang to drive to school or work. But if you really are going through with it, then good luck!

man if you want a fastback....quit lookin' for charity free handouts that benifit no one but you in the end......I see no benifit to me as a potential customer to waste that kind of money for a photo ad.....get another job and work super hard and then you'll have a fastback...I worked 3 jobs in college to graduate debt free and bought my first stang doing such during college years and rebuilt it too. now after much hard work I have a restored 66 coupe.......stop being lazy and find a real 2nd job.

Well with all your babbling about working hard , I much rather work SMART , than hard.

That is why i took this up as a project , I can easily get any other car .

But its a project i have put into my hands to be taking up my time as a hobbie .

Im making $25-$30 per hour.

So im good with that , But i choose not to work because i attend highschool and i am in sports ... and with homework in the mix in doesnt leave much time for work except for weekends .

I am going for the decal/magnet approach i am not painting anything on .

And you say its all wasted money ? Ha!

Its all free money in the first place !!

So dont bring your antics here about working hard , I know what it is to work hard trust me .

Im not taking this up this A$$ , im just being blunt.

Thanks for the support?[sm=WTFsgign.gif]

alright, I've been quiet and tried not to be rude, but I can't hold it in anymore.
Dude listen. drop it. Have you noticed that the guy on the adonastang has not posted any kind of update? Probably because he has not made a single sale. I have my own side business, and there is no way I would pay someone $XX to put my ad on their car, which does not exist. If you can make $25-30 an hour, you should have worked all through the summer.

Why don't you just drive around the car you have (a beautiful 66 mustang) and deal with it. Geez, some people would give an arm and a leg to drive that to high school.

And if you are in sports, and high school, and have a bunch of homework, just when do you plan on working on this fastback? 99% chance says something goes wrong, and you have to fix something. You're going to need a car to get to and from places. Hence, why everyone is telling you to get a junker car and save up.

Plus why does it have to be a fastback? The last one i saw was for a fastback. Just buy yourself a coupe and fix it up. It would be alot cheaper.
