I would just stay with the car that you have. And get over it. Just be happy that you even have a car to drive around in.

I bought my 67 coupe when was 13. was a senior in high school when I sold it. ALL of my friends were envious I even had the car; no one cared that t was a coupe let alone a 6cyl. Why can't enough be enough? I sold the coupe and bought a 71 mach 1. I never TOUCHED the car; sat on it for almost a year and sold it. I'm 20 now, and selling my 70 Fastback so I can build a 67 GT-500.

What I'm saying is you grow with the cars. You buy some, you sell some. You regret some, and you're pleased with some. Its the way it goes. No one wants to buy you a car, except maybe your grandmother. I'm sure she'd love to. No local business is going to risk 300xxx dollars in hopes that several other shops will do the same, so you can actually purchase the car. Because if you DONT purchase the car, their ad will not exist.

You aren't working hard. You're not even working SMART. You're working cheap and lazy.

terms and conditions have guarantees for them to ensure their money back if not enough ads are sold .

So there is no risk involved with losing money in your case scenario .

Why not just be content (and GRATEFUL) for what you have right now.... why make yourself miserable over what you DON'T have, instead of being happy with what you do.

And i actually changed the project from a fastback to a regular coupe .

So it will be less ads i have to sale and more reasonable amount of fundraising .

so your brother has a coupe, and you want a coupe. there is a key to this madness. Buy his car! I'm sure if he's reasonable he can work something out with you - you can pay him off in payments, but it will require you to get and keep a job. If you can't do that, you don't have the time for the car.

I still think though that this is just something you want, not something you need. I have "needed" lots of things. a free house, a free 63 corvette, a free GT350, a free ride in life, a free education....the list goes on and on. Get a junker, get a job, and save up. if you really can get a job for $25-30 an hour, then you are set. One year and you can get a great coupe.
