Very nice car, is it your daily driver? Or your weekend fun car?

If the title is clean, jump on it.

my weekend car i have had that car sence highschool..first car i ever got..i really wanted it cause i thought it was unusual to see powerwindows in a mustang back then..lol..come to find out..it has more options than i can shake a stick at..im getting a marti report done on it..cause a well known mustang restorer looked inside and said..powerwindows..i only seen 1 of this year with powerwindows..then said..alarm..ac...powerlocking seats..and stock red and black...cobrajet motor and cobrajet rims..that i still have on it..lol..he looked at me and said..you know what this is? i said what? a show room car ordered from ford back in 73...we are getting the report done on it next month..but we think its about 1 of 50 or less made..most likely less than 25..lol..i couldnt beleive it..the car i happen to buy back in the day is loaded and quite rare..i dont feal so bad for holding on too it for so long..lol..i had it for 15 years and going.

i like your coupe..i really like them with that hood in your years..i have drooled overa few coupes just like yours..great lookin cars

when it comes to a early mustang they want alot of a rusted to hell pos or have no clue what its worth. normaly the coupe is the cheapest of the 3 bodys fastback the most convertable is a close 2nd. i wouldnt mind a 71-73 fastback tho.

Well that sounds like a pretty sweet deal for you. You plan on restoring it?

Thanks for the compliment, it was my mom's since '71 then my dad and I took over about five years ago and got it to where it is now.

If the inside looks as good as the outside and it runs good, for 2900 I wouldn't be able to get my wallet out fast enough.

The only thing I would worry about is if the title is clean, and the guy that owes him money may have a grudge about selling his Mustang.

ya,,make sure it has a free and clear title..should be a good deal for that car

i plan on fixing her up a bit more..she cleans up much better than when i took that dirty old pick of her there..lol..i just put on the new carb and mainifold and didnt get a chance ot wax her up..hehe,,,she has a small ding in the fender that needs attention that i need to get on...interior needs minor help,,not much..nice dash..nice head liner...no rust....door panels will need to be replaced somtime....but other than that,.,interior is nice anuff to get complements..i dout ill roto restore it any time soon...she is pretty much all matching from top to bottom...lucky i kept everything..even the original carb and manifold spread bore set up...im going to get it nice anuff to enjoy around car shows and drive when im tired of the 4 banger..lol

great to know the history of your car...if you know the original owners name it even makes it worth a tad more..lol...my dad use to own my mustang ..lol..he still tries to get it out from under me time to time..last time he tried..he offerd me his harley heritage springer..lol..i turned him down..cause i enjoy my car a tad bit more..lol
