That's like asking "what's the best car." It's all subjective. Different people like different things.

That said, I have a set of Hushpower II's behind my 331 and I absolutely love them. I hate 40 series, I think they're obnoxiously loud and overused. Some of us like to hear ourselves think while we drive. The Hushpowers give a little more mellow tone without the raspiness of open chambered mufflers, but they still sound absolutely amazing. Mellow 50's tone at idle, mild cruising tone, and aggressive when you get on the throttle, they sound great all the way up to 6k rpm's

Catch is, they're expensive. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Glasspacks are a whole different category of "muffler," if you even want to call them that. I'd recommend against them. They're raspy, LOUD, raspy, produce very little backpressure which can result in lots of popping out the exhaust when engine braking, and it's easy to blow the fiberglass packing out. And did I mention they're raspy?

No idea about the 44's.

I have the 40 Series Delta Flow -Two Chamber Mufflers on my Mustang and I love them. Iused to have Dynamax mufflers on it before. No comparison. Nothing sounds like Flows.
Glasspacks & Thrush are too loud and sound more raspy, where the Flows sound more muscle (JMO)

Picking mufflers is like picking wheels... there are so many choices and so many personal opinions. Recommend you do some serious internet surfing, and find sound clips from the various brands.

The FAQs have some... I know most of the major brands like Flowmaster, Magnaflow, and Borla have clips on their websites.
