Sure it'll burn, but shouldent do much more than char up on the exhaust leaving a mess.

Default RE: transmision fluid?

GM had a big recall in the early 90s concerning this issue. It seems as if the Dextron was foaming up, and coming out of the top of the dipstick hole, falling onto the manifold, and "Poof"..... burning cars to the ground.

I have hada truck catch fire due to transmission fluid leaking onto the exhaust because of a tranny leak... was a GM also... So I can say for sure that Dextron will burn, type F I don't know for sure, but I would say there is always a real risk of fire when ATF gets on exhaust components in any kind of quantity.
