ripped wire

so i was instaling my new valve covers and then when it was all done i looked and it seemed a ripped a blue wire. wtf?! i dont know how the hell it happened. now i cant see what the temp is. i guess that wire made that tach work.



anyone know where i can get a new one?

I would just crimp an eyelet on the end of the wire, find a nut that fits your temp sender stud, and use the nut to re-attach your wire. Similar to how your coil wires are attached.

You lost me... are we talking temp or tach? That wire just needs the new end spliced on. It may affect your tach..but not your temp gage.

Looking at the picture, you can see the temp sender (right next to the distributor cap) and no wire coming from the connector on it. As he said the temp gauge is no longer working, it leads me to believe that the blue wire that broke (next to the red wire on the coil) goes to the blue cap on the temp sender.

yah i said tach instead of gauge. idk why =/.
