painting firewalls!

IVe been scrubbing all week,, and im going to roll, brush, and spray on some rustoleum semi gloss black.. Hopefully it looks great,,, I cleaned with simple green, and brake cleaner, then sanded and wire wheeled alot of it too..

hmm... well i was just out there about 45 mins with degreeser for engine and i just took a brush and scrubed the walls as best as i could then soaked it down with water and dryed it with a towl. do i need to wire brush and all of that jazz too? how many cans should i buy for the motor and the walls

use the wire brush if you still have gunk all over the place. I think i used 1 can for the walls(did it a long time ago). but you might want to buy 2 just in case.

ive got one coat done on the right wall and it looks really good! i got some expensive brand high gloss black. its going to look like a new car here soon under the hood! ill post some photos when its done.

should i paint the motor factory blue or do a custom look with red for my red car?? soon im going to be getting chrome accesories under. let me know what yall think about that

colors are up to you a little trick i learned alum foil any wires hoses or anything hard to masking tape off wrap it with cheap alum foil works great.

ok thanks for the advise! heres a pic as of this morning. we are going to buy another can to shine it a bit better. but it looks great! heres before and after. i should probably stick with blue right? everybody elses mustang ive seen has the factory paint.
