Just remeber to mask "everything" off because overspray will just cause you more work and will look sloppy if not cleaned up. Masking is the most time consuming part of this project. The whole project took me almost a full day.

I didnt take anything off except the battery and masked EVERYTHING else I didnt want paint on. I guess it all depends on how proffessional you want your job to come out. For a daily driver just do what I did. For a show car, I would take everthing off and use some good paint.
- Ohh and remember to clean your engine bay really well. I used simple green and cleaned it twice.

you might also want to sand a little. Just scuff up your old paint so your new coat has something to grab on.
-scuff
-clean really good
-mask
-paint
