Some steel roller cams come with iron gears to work with stock dizzy gears. Iron gear on iron gear, steel gear on steel gear. Don't waste time on the soft dizzy gears unless you're racing and are really worried about the gears eating each other. Just use the same metal on each type of gear and make sure the thrust for both the cam and the dizzy is correct
