I have a Richmond Powertrax locker in mine, it works but can be finicky in tight radius turns. It also has some extra backlash in the driveline. I have no traction problems at all and it definately has no traction problems, but Imay end up going to a Detroit Tru-Trac. As far as something like a Tru-Trac with one wheel in the air, just ride the brake, or leave the parking brake partially engaged, that'll keep the axle loaded to provide the resistance the diff needs to operate properly

yeah the 4 x bias ratio is great unless you have 0 traction then 4x0 is still 0.

But if one wheel is in the air you clearly have bigger issues at hand than the bias ratio letting you down. True that you can use the park brake to get that resistance.

best of all there are no clutch packs to burn out !! Awesome!

That's why I went with the Powertrax, I didn't wanna mess with clutch packs and friction additives. I just change the oil and drive it
