Default AOD year?

Im trying to figure out what year my AOD is. The stamp "EOAP"says its the shorter passenger tailshaft version and the tag "PKA" says its a AOD, but is there a way to decipher the numbers that say what year it is? Thanks

The reason Im asking is because Im shopping for a new stall converter and the one that Ive found says its for an AOD from '80-'92. Thanks again.

Don't quote me on this but if memory serves the AOD got all kinds of electronics, and changed quite a bit in 93 so if yours does not have all that extra stuff than it is probably in that year range...... I think

Yeah, No electronics, just a kickdown cable. I just thought there might have been a couple different earlier AOD versions made. Thanks

Those were the AOD years. The convertors are the same as for as bolting in.
Stock you had V6 , V8 and Pig converters. Same bolt pattern.

I've highlighted the year for you. That would be the design year, though. C=60, D=70, E=80, etc. The following number is the one's place for the year.
