Hi Guys, Just found this site today. Lots of good info here and help. Also belong to FTE site which is for Ford trucks. Anyway, I'm in a restoration project of a 65 Mustang Coupe. Has a build up 302, C4. I have the car completely disassembled and ready for the welding shop. The only badly rusted areas are the fuel tank lip on rear tail light panel, both rear seat pans and right side drip rail. I'll post some photos once I figure out how to accomplish this. I finished the engine compartment primer this past weekend. Next weekend the final paint of the engine compartment. I've been working on Fords and Mustangs since late 73. I have owned a 68 California Special, 66 Fastback 2+2, 65 coupe, 66 GT coupe and now my current project the 65 Coupe. I wish I could have foresaw how these cars where going to go up in value I'd kept them all. I haven't decided to keep it stock, original or modify it. The car is from the San Jose Plant and stayed a California (LA area) until 2001 in which it wound up in Chicago. It now resides in Washington. Be talking with you all.
