$25k and up, depending how complete and original it is.

 

heritage is also a big factor, a holman moody motor will bring top dollar 35k+, a generic ford motor will be below that, and a new dove motor will be around the 25k motor

 

my dad had an opportunity to buy a ford one for about 15K and it was complete but needed to be rebuilt. *sigh* man that would make one wicked drag motor.

Seller claims it's an original 60s cammer. It's installed in a 64 Falcon drag car that hasn't been run in a couple years, but looks complete.Hmmm.

Last one I saw out of a car went for like $25k. Wasn't a Holman-Moody though.

if you read the Holman Moody book, they talk about the drag racing program in I believe 65, ronnie sox went in there and saw SOHC 427's stacked floor to ceiling and signed to run fords almost immediatly
