Default Progress and setbacks

On Saturday, I finally got the rear leafs out!!!!!! Now I am just waiting on new leaf front eye bolts to get the rear end back together. Got the whole front suspension put back together. The disc brakes are not gonna happen now like I thought, so I am putting the drums back on. I took the drums to a shop to be sandblasted so that I could paint them to match the car, but for some reason, once the shop blasted the outside, they continued and sandblasted and primed the outside, inside, and the inside hub part with the races in it.

It all worked out though, the shop didnt charge me, plus I got new races and bearings cheaper than the sandblasting was gonna be. So I will turn the drums to remove the primer and I will have gotten the outside sandblasted for free

Good job. Match sure you clean out the cavity area up where the eye of the leaf springs bolt up. Mine had a bunch of dried junk stuck in the corners. I used an air-chisle to knock it all out, then got the rest of the loose junk off by hand, and hit it all with some rust converter and paint. Good luck...
