Why do you think it would be your alternator? If it started right up after you replaced the battery and starter and now the lights won't even turn on, you have a major battery drain somewhere. I would recharge the battery and see if it fires right up, then leave it disconnected overnight and see if it starts the next day when you reconnect it. If it does, then you need to start tracking your draining issues.

3 Questions:
1. is the new battery at 12V?
2.is the car in park or nuetral?
3. have you jumped around the solenoid to see if the the starter cranks.

PS: the alternator's job is to charge the battery (nothing else) and does not affect starting.

Well if you had started the car through the window, that tells me it's an automatic transmission.. They have a park/neutral safety switch. My switch went bad and the car would not start. Try moving the shifter handle, and or starting the car in neutral. This same switch needs to be adjusted properly. It is located on the left side of tranny and is slid over the shift shaft coming out of the tranny. This is a area that is prone to leak and then the switch gets contaminated in tranny fluid and fails. Good luck!
