windshield washer

this might sound like a dumb question but how do you turn on the windshield washer pump

thanks got it to work but now the rubber caps on the end of the nozels are broken does anyone know where you can by just the caps instead of the whole sprayer unit

in my 66 i have to pull the wiper switch for the washer fluid, but i dont even have a fluid container. none of its hooked up.
