Default Hooker Competition= +1 from me!

I just wanted to give hooker a thumbs up from me. I put the long tubecompetition (black) headers on my 351w and they were really easy to get in from the bottom, I just jacked the car up a little and they slid right up into place. The bolts located on the inner sideof the tube were a little pain, but the trick is to just install all of the bolts at once about 2 threads into the head, and pull the header out so that the bolt head is in the notch of the header and tighten them down evenly so that the bolt head dont get pushed up against the bend in the header tube.

The headers look nice and fit perfectly under the car, no rubbing, and they dont even hang down lower than the power steering bracket is. They tuck just right.
I havent started the car yet, so I dont know how they are going to sound, or work for that matter, but I assume they will be just fine..

So there is my $.02..

Hey congrats on the new Hookers.
I am sure you are going to like them! I have the same headers for my 347 except they are the ceramic and they sound great.
Keep us posted as soon as you fire that baby up!

I HEART MY HOOOKER headers

I remember the day UPS delivered mine. He looked at the box with the heart and the word hooker, then looked at me. Smiled and said, "hope you enjoy this" in a kind of awkward way.

I take it this is your first experience with a Hooker? You can't beat thebang for the buck. You should get those things coated though.I hear hookers work better with protection.

Now that was funny.. I do plan on getting them coated after I wear the pretty black paint off, or it starts to crack..
