If you're willing to go to the trouble of installing wires under the dash, why not just replace/repair the existing courtesy lamp wires and use those?

Please don't put neon in your classic 'Stang. If you must have neon, sell your car to someone else and buy a honda. I'm all for the resto-mod mindset, but my gosh ............

I think James was suggesting to get the wiring diagram and a test light and figure out why the existing lights aren't working. It may be as simple as a fuse, burnt out bulbs, switch, etc.

Neon, really?

my car was in a fire and the last owner jerry rigged the wiring, i know all the fuses bulbs and switches are good cause there new and i have power at the switches. at the bulb i have power as well but and i still dont have lights.

my friend has neon in her car and its not like the ricer neon hers are a soft yellow all most white and she has a switch that she can turn them on any time just like a dome light in a new car
