I've been searching and searching but I can't seem to find the length of an aerostar driveshaft anywhere. Aparently from what I've read, the 2wd models are 55". Too long for my T5/8.8 combo. I have no idea of the AWD models though. Nobody around here wants to shorten a driveshaft.. well, one on the phone said "Anywhere from 400-800".. Yeaaah. I don't think so. And they definately won't shorten aluminum.
Sooo, any ideas? Thanks!

I had my driveshaft built and balanced for under $200... It only took em like 2 days too.
So you'd think if I supplied the slip yoke, and the rear flange, and the U-joints, it should be damn cheap? or did you supply those as well.
Only one place around here and they said, on the phone, might be 400, might be 800.. what a crock.

i dont know the length of a 5.0 musangs d/s off hand but supposedly the 4whl drive aerostar is the correct length for a 5.0 as long but has the wrong rear flange for the 5.0 so you have to reuse the 5.0 rear flange
