If the answer is yes, then I am happy..

*****,
Very elegant retort.

So how exactly do I ask someone what mods they have done to their car after I have just blown their doors off and continued on my route with them growing ever smaller in my rear view mirror?

yes it will make about 10-15 hp and about 20-30 ft lbs more than the stock cam with all being the same but it it works better with an intake and carb, its a great cam for low end torque/mileage and thats what its designed for. When you get a taste of more power......I guarantee you will want more......

And to specify to mr. hotwllz as you can obviously tell , his engine is a 69. Who cares about 71 and on ?

Its irrelavant ...

Just pointing it out , so HP and TQ stand at initial guesses , ..

And lastly , we are referring to the Engine! .... not the car!! .. Duhhh......

Yes the Performer cam is better than stock, but it's not exactly what most of us would consider a street "performance" cam, let alone high performance

exactly, not trying to rain on your parade but dont expect much from a performer cam/ int on a 351w, on a 289-302 it has a very noticable difference over stock 2bbl and cam. the cam is same specs for a 351w, I dont know why butedelbrock makes a performer cam for a 5.8 (351w) probably injected but the specs are 210 216 469 484 @0.50 which sounds more like it should be for the increased displacement. The main thing is if your happy with the performance thats all that counts....
