I was looking into the same wheel size but was recommened to knock it down to 17x8 and as far as i know the 69/70 mustangs could support a larger wheelsize then a 66. Hope this helps. http://links.vintage-mustang.com/images/wheelsizes.jpg

oh my bad. i just got back from buying my new wheels. i measured them and found that they were 17x9....but then my dad said dont measure from edge to edge, you gotta measure from the inner edge to inner edge. so they are 17x8 bullits from 05 or whatever. i bought them from the ford dealership for 300 for all four!! for my 66, im gonna put 235/45 in the front and 245/45 in the rear. does this sound good?

To me that sounds like an amazing deal. I havent gotten my Torq Thrust rims yet (asuming those are the same as you bullet rims) but Iam paying $280 per rim.

yeah man im still like in shock at how much i got them for!! i was like right on. i had to drive 1 hour away but who gives a crap im getting them for dirt cheap. theyre factory take-offs from the dealership. theres only like a 1 inch scratch on 1 wheel from curb rub but the rest are immaculate! heres the link that i found them on: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/426216221.html . im gonna go to some tire shops today and find some tires. but i have to sell my magnum 500 first cause i need the money. i just ordered 1 inch spacers from MustangsPlus' online catalog so they should be here next week. im so stoked
