inspection plate?

do straight 6s have inspection plates on the transmission? because i can see my fly wheel.

yes. Someone must have removed it at some point.
I know I don't have mine installed on my 65 (everytime I bolt it on because it is all 'done' something breaks so now I am superstitious about it)
