Default Restomod Question. Dont shoot me!

I have a question. I believe that valley firearms did this to his coupe and ive seen it done to the 1969 coupe. but what type of trunk lid do i need to buy to make a shelby/fastback flip up on a 1970 coupe. I know i would have to buy the trim pieces and the trunk but can i just buy a fastback trunk and trim and it will fit on my 1970 coupe? Also i found a guy that has a 1969 headlight bezel kit and i was going to make my front end a 1969. Im thinking more restomod for mine. And my last question is where do you find the shelby eleanor tail light housing kit for a 1970 coupe. I know they make a eneanor kit for a 1967-68.
Thanks!!

Shoot you? Hell bro gimme a hug! You can do whtever the heck you want to. Here is the tail end of a 70 GT350 Shelby. It is the same as the 500. I'm not sure but I think they are making more and more parts for the 69-70 shelby conversions. I don't know exactly where to find them but try the mustang shop in WA or Rebel mustang in Brea CA.

The bezels and lenses appear to be the same as a 68. Here is a shot of the front/side.

try mustangsplus.com. might be a few bucks cheaper, like 20 or so.

That price seem about right to me. It is not a cheap project, I know. You could shop around a little but you will be getting very good quality with glass made by Maier. Their website is http://www.maierracing.com

altho it would look really awsome! its either this or soak the money into something needed like my suspension which is about 30 years old. haha but it would look pretty darn good with the kit. So 500 for the kit and another 200-300 to paint my chery red color do you think?
