Default Not a ford Radiator?

I think my radiator isnt the proper model for my mustang, in fact I dont think its even a ford product. I have been told that a rad from a 69 should be wider and not as tall. Infact I think there is very little space between my radcap and the hood when closed. Does anyone have any info on the radiators that belong to the 69s, or ones that I should concider buying.

looks like the stock 2 row to me, but i would go with something a little bigger, a 3 or 4 row. make sure you check the clearance to the fan before buying a new radiator. you can just get a smaller spacer for the fan if you need to,but its tedious to do[&:]

Yup its a two row, Its in pritty bad shape too. While the engine is running, I can place my hand on ares of the rad and its cold!, while other spots are blazing hot. So i need to replace it soon.

when you replace it, get that radiator filter that goes in the hose, its like 45$ but its worth it.

Have you consider simply flushing the system?
Are you having an overheating problem now?

Its was running hot untill I replaced my waterpump. Now it sits on the halfway mark on the gauge when idling. I was thinking of getting the radiator flushed out but if indeed this radiator is non ford or was ment for a smaller engine, i would like to replace it.
