351 questions..
I was wondering .. How high does a 351w rev?
how can you increase rpm limit?
Also does anyone have pictures of diff 351w's?
I can seem to find many different custom engine paintjobs.
im tired of blue, but what to go to ?

why ? .. well i was wondering ...can you change the set ups to make 351's peak torque and HP at diff rpms?
Also , i heard 351s werent capable of reving high ..

Absolutely, how you build a motor and corresponding systems will have a huge effect on when power is made. There are two types of motors that make power: one that makes max HP and one that makes HP faster. As a rule these things are mutually exclusive. A motor that makes power quickly will peak out faster and a max HP motor will be a high RPM motor that doesn't really begin to significantly increase power until middle to high RPM range "typically" and will be pore on the bottom end. Cam is a prime example of that a really big cam will make more over all power, but a smaller cam will make better power at lower RPMs. Other things like exhaust size, valve size, and intake runner size can effect this and that is why bigger is not always better.

One of the best tools I ever bought for helping me decide what parts to put on a motor was desktop dyno for my PC. What I like about it is it shows me torque and HP curves and how things like changing the cam changes the results. I always fire up the computer before making major changes in performance parts. The result has been a motor that performs the way I want it to and has saved me money from not buying the wrong parts.
