Good point Wayne. I forgot about that. I think the kind of slider bar he is talking about is the 70's model that adjusts the balance. The slider bar you have selects am/fm doesn't it? If he had the correct type, it would fit.

 

I have a black slider under the buttons and a silver slider for the am/fm. Looks like it's for a later model.
