Window Guard Rails
[align=left]Hello guys, im new here, and i was wondering if you guys yould be able to help me out on something. I am trying to restore my 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe, and i noticed that there was a gap between the main window, and the small window. I also noticed on other mustangs, that there should be a metal railing that goes there. I was wondering what that piece was called, and where i can find it. Would like it as soon as possible before the rain starts poring.
There is a picture that shows the missing piece on the window.

I believe the metal peice goes on the side of the window in the door, thats how it is on my 69 mach at least. But there should sitll be a metal frame around that other window, on mine there is at least. But the coupe windows could be diff from the mach 1's in terms of that.
i was just looking at those exact parts in cj pony parts catalog.
You need the 1/4 window frames.... Part QWF3 from CJponyparts.com
The chrome on top of the windows, I think is called Drip Rail Molding... CJ part # DRM5 for coupe w/o vinyl
If you dont have it already, you should order free catalogs from CJ and NPD among others. Personally I like CJ best. can you tell?
hope this helps.

On the body of the car above the window is the drip rail as ldollar says.
As for the window, it called something close to door glass weatherstrip depending on where you find it. For a coupe, it goes on the door glass, not the 1/4 window (small back window) glass.

Yeah those "1/4 window frames" mount onto the sides of those rear 1/4 windows.
1969 1/4 Window Frames
oops those are for fastback.... you got a coupe.... I'm having a hard time finding the exact part you need for the 69 coupe... good luck with it, this should get you headed in the right direction. My wife wants me to pay attention to her and not my "virtual friends on the Forums" so I gotta let this one go. Cheers!

Sorry about this, but im still kind of confused on which parts i need. I need the metal piece that goes on the window its-self, and not the piece that goes on the frame of the car. I also need the piece that goes between the 1/4 window and main window.
