I'm going to have to plead ignorant.... what makes a header a 2v and another a 4v?

its a header made for a 4v (same bolt as a 2v just bigger ports) but it needs a copper adapter from the port to the header to fit right to a bigger opening. but by doing so your making 2/8 of an inch bigger tubing than what most header companys run for a 2v. the hedmans are 1 5/8 and these sandersons im looking at will work, ive called, but im afraid of losing alot of torque with a bigger 1 7/8header.

do yall think its thank big of a diffrence? you have to consider the percentage but its not a long tube its a shorty and it goes into a 2 1/4 exhaust.

please help me out!
thanks guys!

Gotcha..I forgot about Clevelands having different heads for 2 barrel and 4 barrel motors.

I can't imagine that tube size making any noticeable difference for a street car.

Those are what I'm using.

Check out the dyno run if you want a rough idea of sound. I'm using the 4V headers bolted up to my CHI 2V heads.

yeah i cant either but people said that it might so im not sure. and my other question is do you think itll sound the same as long tubes? ive spent about 600 in exhaust so i dont want it to sound like it does with just turbos. im hoping itll sound alot diffrent. i ordered some flowmaster super 44s.

The engine is still out of the car, so I have no idea what it will sound like with a full exhaust. The engine had flex tube hooked up to the collectors and run out of the building during the dyno pull.
