Default body straightening

How do I get all the panels and doors and the trunk to line up together? I know none of these cars came from the factory already done, is there a way to do this yourself?

well line up one of the gaps consistant and then cut, grind, weld and fill in the other gaps to match! its time consuming and tedious but worth it!

Or you can do like i did and replace everysingle body part on the whole car[:'(]and start with the rear quarters get a good trunk gap and work your way forward to the doors then the front fenders ect.. hey atleast i know there is no rust on the entire car right? gotta think positive hehe Oh btw screw rear quarters in with self tapping small screws and once everything is in place drill your 3/8 holes with a spotweld cutter and start filling them in with a mig welder thats how you can get some good quarters

What about staightening? My 65 coupe has no rust but has been in an accident and the front/right nose sticks up a little and the rear/left is pushed in about 1 1/2 inches. Are there factory specs anywhere to tell me where everything should be and how do I go about getting this thing pulled straight? Thanks

Mount the doors first. Make sure they are straight. Then mount front fenders then rear quarter. MAKE SURE that the decklid and extensions are straight before welding anything on the quarters.

No... get the car straightened first, think about it what is mounting a door on a car that is jacked up gonna do? if you it it lined up that way, it wont be lined up once you get it straightened.
