I am hoping someone can help. I purchased the round side mirrors for 65-66 and the hole spacing is quite a bit larger then the new mirrors had. The spacing on my doors is 5 1/8 inch between holes. Has anyone experienced this? Are there options? When I originally restored it in 1989, I used aftermarket tear drops, but it doesnt appear there are too many options now.

 

I think their is a long base mirror bullit type. But I'm unsure who makes it. You may call Mustangs Unlimited and seek info.

If its the one I am thinking of, they are $100+ per set and I still wasnt sure they would fit.
