If you happen to be in Michigan or Wisconsin, you could come up and I will show you how to rebuild it..

Maybe you could just try changing the tranny fluid and see if you have something nasty sitting in the pan/filter. Worth a try.. Othere than that,, why type of Torque converter do you have?? Whats the stall? And you say it goes just fine after it warms up right??

Im going to check the fluid tomorrow.Itwas changed about two weeks ago, but i plan on changing it regardless as long as its still topped off.

c6 Auto with stock TC (16 or 1800 stall i believe)
And you say it goes just fine after it warms up right??
This is why im labeling it, "weird";
I'll start it up, back it out, and it will drive PERFECT until the first stop. What i mean by that is this ;
The other day, instead of going the normal route, i just kept driving around my house edition w/o completely stopping and it drives BEAUTIFULLY....but as soon as i make that FIRST stop, i have to rev it up past 2500 RPM to get her to go ... then she is fine after that..................

I'd check the modulator valve on the tranny, I've been told if you pull the tube off and there is tranny fluid (a drip) it is faulty and needs to be replaced. Also make sure there are no leaks in the line.

Are you sure its shifting back into first after that first stop?? IF you were in second it would take a bit more RPM to get her going.. Have you noticed if it shifts after that from first to second and then to third or if its maybe just pulling out in second? That would be wierd,, or even if it was in third.. Count the number of shifts after the next time it does that to you..
