OK
since i havent gotten an e-mail back from the douche in about 5 days, does anyone know how to modify the 1967 dash/ instrument bezel to accept the phantom gauges from autometer.

lol yeah i need to know how to modify bezels, i dont feel like sepnding 750 on a complete bezel when i can get the same result on my own for 1/5 of the price.

yeah i know what your saying, call up a performance shop or a mustang shop, they should know if you cant find the answers here. or just someone that does custom work on classics

Go to town with a die grinder and a carbide bit I'd want to have a couple cluster housings on hand though, in case you mess one up. They're usually cheap used on ebay or at a swap meet. I do know a guy who has done this, but I haven't seen him in a while. If I do, I'll let you know what he did.

i would love doing it for people that want them, and trust me my prices wouldnt be screwing people over like the others....as soon as i can get a couple bezels im gonna start on it.

most mustang part houses sell a gauge support lets you put the aftermarket gauges in the stock bezel but you gotta do some triming.

Yeah, it's the trimming that takes a while. Cutting a perfect circle in perfect alignment with the cluster face isn't as easy as you might think. I had to do it for my Jeep tach mod in my 67 dash and it took me quite a while with a dremel. And then you have to figure out how exactly to mount the gauges in the holes you cut.
