I'm actually betting that with a 302 and auto, you'd damage your auto trans first. The biggest "safety valve" for a 7.5 is the non-posi differential. With a stick, you could rev it way up then dump the clutch.

so that brings us to a question i asked a long time ago....how much will it take to break it?[sm=badbadbad.gif]
I don't know...but I'm anxious to see your video!

But TexasAxMan has a good point regarding the transmission possibly failing. I'd hate to see you or I destroy that just messing around. I guess if its going to go, its going to go eventually.

i have snaped the 7.5 in a 91 ranger with a 302 before it can be done also any rear end can break.if you have a weak link in the drivetrain youll find it.
