65 Mustang Weight??

Default 65 Mustang Weight??

Just wondering if you guys knew the weight of a 65 coupe?? Standard 302, C4 tranny, and an 8.8 rearend. That's about all you need to know to determine the weight right??

No data of V8 vs. i6.

With you in it and fuel, prolly more like 3,100-3,200lbs, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. The lightest were Coupes with i6's at around 2,500-2,600 and the heaviest were the 390's Fasbacks in 67/68 etc, at around 3,500. It depends on options and what you have done to it, subframe connectors, heavier leaves int he suspension, aluminum heads etc. It all adds and takes weight out

I'm pretty sure when the '65 came out the price was a dollar a pound 2300 and change,but that would be a bare bones model.
