Stuck between a rock and a hard place
Project cars just aren't worth much until the project is done. Unless you have a true "Rare" car not one that is called such, you won't get much more then parts cost in selling a finished car. The only reason to rebuild and old car is the love of it. - You obviously love the car, you did the work thus far, IMHO, sell a newer one and keep her.
That is from someone who has 20K in his with 23-26 more to go!

It depends a lot on what area you're in. Here in New England, a car like that will probably go for $3500-4500. I paid $2800 for mine, and while it was all assembled, there was a LOT of work still to be done (floors, cowls, engine, body panels, etc.)
After I subscribed here, I thought I WAY overpaid for my car... and in the general sense, I did. However, the price I got for my car is actually a steal compared to the other listings in this area. Something in that shape sometimes runs all the way up to $5500ish. On the other hand, the same car would probably only go for $1500-2000 in California.
To put it simply, based on what I've seen for cars / prices around here, I wouldn't hesitate at $2500 for your car, and would definately pay more if I had the money. Like others have said, if you ABSOLUTELY have to sell it (which you very well may regret), take the time to install all of the parts you have, even if you know the next owner will have to rip them all back out. A car that looks complete will sell for more.

Thats the problem here...Nobody has any older cars nothing to that nature, youll never see anything worth stopping and looking at, guess thats why i had no luck with selling my 67. And when i do advertise in trade talk etc nobody wants to travel to see it.
