Default Heidt's Products

Just recieved some subframe connectors for my coupe made by Heidt's. They look great! The welds look really good, material looks nice and stong. Haven't gotten around to installing them yet, so I can't say much for the fitment.

I'm planning on also ordering their chassis stiffener that has a driveshaft safety loop built in.

What I'm really looking into is their Bolt-In Rear 4-Link Kit. It looks good and is priced very well I think.

I'm also looking at their Superide II IFS Coil Over kit.

Anyone have any experience with Heidt's or any of these products???

I have heard a few bugs about the Heidets and other, but you hear that form every manufacturer.
The bug with most is the how the lower a arm is mounts. My Rod and Customs splits the load 50/50 that means there is about a 1.75 spacer on the front of the cross member and matching on the backside. I think Heidts puts all the load on the rear non equal spacers it cause a weak point. Even tho it has gussets,I like the split the load idea. The A frame on the lower is rear biased so in a hard turn all the force in on a focal point not split 50/50. Plus Im biased due to the fact William walked me thru my installation of my kit and solved a few other problems for me too. I.E. Correct pre plumed brake master cylinder and the correct oil pan for my app. Mine is a 347 with a main stud griddle so there pan that came with the kit wouldnt work. So he gave me the part # that worked and told me to order it direct from Canton to save money. How cool was that. Good luck in what ever you chose. My wifes 65 fastback is next in line I no what ill use if I go mustang 2. BTW check out their new bolt in rear suspension.

I have the Heidts kit for mine, not in yet. Cant wait to get rid of the stock crap and actually have some room in the engine bay.
