Default underside painting

what kind of paint would you use to paint the underneath side of a mustang

ive thought about bedliner, but i have pretty much decided against it.

im thinking about doing the painting myself, i have a paintbooth, so thats no problem, i just wanna know what to use

I used a single stage paint, primering and sealing it first of course. It came out great and is easy to maintain. I though about bedliner stuff too but I've heard that it is nearly impossible to remove. I did not want something on there forever.

Only do bedliner if your undercarriage is PERFECT. If you trap rust or moisture under the bedliner, it will continue to destroy the metal. Also, everything is going to have to be removed...fuel/brake lines, drivetrain, suspension, etc. to do it correctly.

I used "brush on" undercoating from JCWhitney. Cheap and easy to use, and my bottom side isnt perfect, so no use doing something expensive on a bad foundation.

I did the bedliner stripped everything down to metal then primed it all out last hit it with the spray on bedliner.
Also did the engine bay. It came out nice I thinned mine out a bit to spay it thru a #30 tip gravity gun. Came out nice.
Tough as nails and a nice sheen on it. The texture isnt as rough as the normal.
Look @ my picts post from earlier sunday.

I painted under my car with Por15. It is a brush-on paint and is great. I used the chassis-coat black.
You can usually but it from any Mustang parts supplier or Summit Racing.
