Default Brakes sticking

I recently completed a brake system restoration on my 68. New master, all new wheel cylinders, new drums, new shoes all stock replacements. Got to drive it around for about 3 days until the carb quit on me[:@] and at the same time the rear brakes started smelling bad coming down a big hill. After looking at the rear brakes I realized the drivers side was not releasing. Now after complete break down and a cleaning of that wheel I drove around last night no problems. Drive into work this morning and now the passenger side rear is sticking.

Any ideas on why this would be happening???

No I didn't replace the adjusters since the teeth on them looked good. and yes to the clearance (meaning the drums were snug with the shoes)

Did you clean and lube everything, including the star adjusters? All of the backing plate contact points need to be lubed with synthetic brake lube, as well as the star adjuster threads and contact points.

Did you replace all of the springs? A hardware kit is definitely a good idea.

Also, check for ridges worn into the backing plate contact points. After 40yrs, the shoes could've worn themselves into ridges and want to rest in them rather than slide over a flat surface.

There is some good ridges in the backing plates. I was thinking that it maybe a problem but not sold on it. Although now that you mentioned it I'll be filling in those ridges this weekend. I will be getting new backing plates when I do the conversion but need to get some other work done to her first.

As far as the other stuff yes its all good.
