Well, I finally did the timing on my engine... thanks for all your great posts because they all helped me very much. She sounds a lot better now, and I'm excited to start it up on a cold start to see how it has improved. I'm also excited to take it on the highway to see how it has improved.

Hi JMD,

that's some great device there they're selling. will have to get one.
when i worked with Opels they all had an easy access marking on the camshaft pulley, so that was another option.
can't see that on a mustang. thx for the link. device is very suimple but effective. much better than sticking a finger in there :-)
