Default Dash lights out.

Well they were working. Anyway, does anybody know offhand what color wire comes off the switch (reostat) to the dash lights so I can insert the old probe. Seems like all the aftermarket switches are crap thatmake itacross the pond. I will look for a NOS in the mean time with the words "Made in the USA". Grounds are good. Its in a 67. It will save me some time.

I'm pretty sure it's the blue-red wire from the switch. Goes from the switch, to the fuse block, then to the instrument panel lights. Did you check the fuse by any chance?

No, not yet. I've had to work for the last 50+ days, and I'm all but brain dead. I did manage totake her outfor a spin the other day andloved it. That will be my first course of action when time permits. Thanks.

The wire is the blue-red. there is a 2.5 amp fues in series with the output so the dash lights won't come on if the fuse is blown. check the fuse second. First, rotate the kob fully just to be sure ( it happens) its not way down. good luck!
