Default Help! Coolant leak from down under

Ok, I admit it. I dont know much about engines. Here is the short story. I lwent out the other day and I noticed that the heater wasn't working. I checked the engine temp and of course it was on the rise. Upon return home I put in some water and in a matter of seconds it ended up on the garage floor. It leaked from the underside of the engine, not any hoses from the radiator or the front of the engine. I couldn't see where it came from exactly. So...where would it leak from? What are the fixes? How can I prevent it from happening again? Most likely I am going to send it out for repairs. Any refferals in Las Vegas for a honest mechanic that knows classic Mustangs? Thanks for your help!

Possibly a bad freeze plug. Why don't you just wait for your friend?
