Default oil cooler

Iam at the point were its time to hook up the paxton to my oil pan.
Having a hard time poking a hole in the 7qt canton. lol
I have a remote oil-filter and a oil cooler I havent done anything with.
Wondering if I could tap into either return line on the remote filter or the cooler with the supercharger oil return
hate messing up that canton.

If it's a stock or even a not heavily modified motor, don't put an oil cooler on it. You want your oil to be able to get above 212 F so any water in the oil will boil off.

It's got a Paxton:P

But yeah, I'd just route it through the remote filter lines. No reason this shouldn't work.

im running a302 with an oil cooler and my oil gets about an extra month of life and my hole engine seems to run cooler. The Unit cost a big 40 bucks at my local auto parts store and actually looks pretty mean. It took meabout 30 mins to install, its worth a try unless your ride is OEM

Thanks guys.
Nothing about my ride is oem but the roof line and maybe right door and quarter panel. lol
I checked my remote filter-filter for the internal check valve it has it in there so I can use it.
I like the idea of the oil cooler sitting out front like a cobra anyway.Ill just do some more research on this 1st.

I am not sure what type of remote oil filter you are using but if it is the screw on adapter between the block and oil filter then all of the oil in these lines are at full pressure. The supercharger drain line should go back into a no pressure area (like side of the oil pan) and not into a high pressure. If you putthe drain line into a high pressure area it is possible the oil will not drain at all. If you are running an electric fuel punp then you can drill and tapout the block off plate for the mechanical pump and put the return line in it.
