Unfortately even Ford doesn't know because they lost all the records that could used to determine this.
It is an interesting color. I have a buddy up in central PA with an Emberglow Fastback that I really like.

That's a bummer, any chance it would be worth a couple of extra bucks in the long run? I'm trying to sell my 66 emberglo coupe and a 68 coupe that is just a shell and get a 65 fastback.

It could be, to the right person I'd definitely mention it in any ads you post.

Unfortunately when you go to sell it you will have a hard time proving that Emberglo was the orginal color without a build sheet. Emberglo is a beautiful color though, there's a '66 fastback around here that's Emberglo with black GT stripes on the side, pretty good looking car.

They chucked them. The only reason the 67-73 records are still available is because Kevin Marti (Marti Autoworks) bought them from Ford.
